Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO), our work is at the forefront of regulatory compliance and corporate governance advancements.

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions that support control oversight and assurance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business intelligence and decision-making.

Role Overview:

As a Data Architect in the GCCO Office, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, architects, engineers, and business leaders to design and implement scalable, regulatory-compliant, and cost-effective data solutions. Your focus will be on data modelling, governance, and integration, ensuring our control environment meets both business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Deliver: Develop end-to-end data solutions aligning with regulatory, compliance, and business requirements.

• Collaboration: Work closely with control owners, architects, and engineers to define and implement solution designs.

• Data Modelling: Lead the design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to data governance principles, security, and integrity.

• Optimization: Improve ETL processes, enhance data integration, and ensure efficient data management.

• Innovation & Strategy: Stay ahead of industry trends, recommending new technologies and best practices.

What You Need to Succeed:

• 10+ years of IT experience, preferably in financial services.

• Expertise in data architecture, modeling, and integration.

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based and on-premises data solutions.

• Experience with data governance, regulatory compliance (GDPR, SOX), and risk controls.

• Proficiency in data modelling tools (e.g., ERwin) and ETL processes.

• Ability to engage C-suite stakeholders, present insights, and drive decision-making.

• Strong problem-solving, consulting, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated experience leading global teams and large-scale transformation projects.

Nice to Have:

• Stakeholder management experience at executive level.

• Project/change management expertise.

• Strong mentorship and coaching skills.

• Experience working in highly regulated environments.
