One of our important clients is currently looking for a Team Lead Security Architects for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.

📅 Start: July 2026

Role Overview
We are looking for a Team Lead Security Architects to define and drive the organization’s security architecture strategy and governance.
You will lead a team of architects, ensuring that security standards, risk management, and enterprise architecture are consistently applied across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
<ul class="list-disc"><li>Lead and structure the Security Architecture team (mentoring &amp; coordination)</li><li>Define and maintain security architecture frameworks and standards</li><li>Ensure alignment between security, business, and enterprise architecture</li><li>Drive risk-based decision-making across projects and programs</li><li>Oversee architecture reviews, governance, and compliance (ISO, NIST)</li><li>Support cloud, resilience, and transformation initiatives</li></ul>

Profile
<ul class="list-disc"><li>10+ years in IT, including 6+ years in Security Architecture</li><li>Proven experience in leading/mentoring security architects</li><li>Strong background in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)</li><li>Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments</li><li>Ability to align business needs with secure architecture solutions</li><li>Master’s degree required</li><li>Languages: English + French or Dutch (fluent)</li></ul>

Nice to Have
<ul class="list-disc"><li>Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISM, CRISC, TOGAF, SABSA</li><li>Experience with cloud security and risk assessments</li></ul>
