Cyber Security Analyst

The Team Lead:  
External Sales is responsible for actively pursuing sales growth (volume and value) and service delivery competitiveness by:  

•	Owning & Deliver on all performance targets for the allocated portfolio of External Sales activities (Full Team Accountability)  
•	Responsible for the coordinating of activities relating to collaborative opportunities with relationship banking and other business units unlocked by the Regional Manager External Sales 
•	Planning and coordinating general External Sales activities in the region and liaising with the central team to do this effectively – aligning with both regional and central team business objectives and insights.   
•	Collaborate with Regional Manager External Sales to create and maintain relationships in relevance to WPB Agreement management, to ensure sustainability in WPB penetration and identification of continuous marketing avenues 
•	Identifying opportunities and represent Absa on external sales engagements within assigned areas e.g. workplace banking groups, public forums, major events and festivals, etc.   
•	Improving overall Absa performance through the identification of sales, cross sell opportunities and active engagement and partnership with colleagues (branches, across BU, region etc.) to deliver against these

Key accountabilities	 
Customer and Stakeholder Management 
•	Support a well-integrated and aligned Sales, acquisition and retention program in order to focus on optimal value creation through the effective and efficient implementation and management of the Physical Channels External Sales strategy.  
•	Monitor and coordinate all External Sales specific customer initiatives, i.e. Customer Bank Days, Wellness Days, AFE, customer education, in the Region and provide trends & reports to the Regional Physical Channels leadership team.  
•	Oversee all activities centred on the achievement and enablement of excellent customer experiences within the External Sale context. Ensure that these are co-ordinated, i.e. Treating Customers Fairly, NPS, Customer Care Process, Customer Education and Training, etc. by ensuring that there is a clearly defined customer service action plan.  
•	Working collaboratively with the marketing and sponsorship teams leveraging marketing assets effectively to deliver events that align to our customer, sales and service goals across the business.  
•	Initiate, develop and maintain sound business relationships with key external business and corporate stakeholders in order to improve external business acquisition and generate additional opportunities for the bank – outside of our existing business and corporate banking base.   
Business Growth and Financial Performance 
•	Together with the Regional Manager External Sales, Translate the Regional targets and agree individual annual and monthly targets with direct reports for business growth, penetration, products, value added and cross-sell products.  
•	Ensure the achievement of agreed Regional Business Growth targets and objectives per the holistic External Sales and Physical Channel Scorecard. 
•	Identify and initiate business development activities to enable External Sales to achieve business growth targets.  
•	Ensure the effective growth of Primary Account holders in alignment to agreed targets and local opportunities.  
•	Develop, implement and drive appropriate strategies and campaigns to ensure timely performance gap closures.  
Operations Risk and Regulatory Management 
•	Ensure the mitigation and management of all External Sales related operational and business risks, and that processes are adhered to in compliance with all Absa's policies and procedures at all times. 
•	Ensure that the team meet all regulatory (compliance/other) requirements in all external sales delivery activities i.e. all colleagues have the relevant FAIS/Proficiency levels and other required qualifications before deployment into the field.  
•	Ensure the attainment of a "Green/ Satisfactory Audit” for the Business Unit at all times.  
•	Ensure that the Customer Complaints Process (CCP) is well managed within agreed timelines with no overdue or outstanding issues outside of SLA / governance.  
•	Ensure effective BCM/resilience measures are in place at all times.  
•	Out of governance operational and/or conduct risks need to be effectively managed and corrected within agreed and set timelines.   
•	Ensure that all External Sales tools are optimally managed by colleagues; this includes the need for systems to be updated, operational and fully deployed and aligned at all times.  
•	Ensure that all allocated assets are well managed, clean and available for deployment and that related asset registers are 100% up-to-date.  
•	Compile and present Regional reports related to sales performance, marketing, training and customer engagement to Head-Office and any other management area as directed by the Regional Manager

•	Ensure all colleagues have contracted Performance and Development Plans and that the related processes, conversations and timelines are implemented and embedded as required.
