We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our dynamic data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making across the bank. This position requires a strong understanding of banking data and business processes, as well as expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business requirements.

• Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various banking systems and external sources into Power BI.

• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models in Power BI to support analytical needs, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

• Reporting & Analysis: Provide actionable insights through data analysis and visualization, empowering business users to make informed decisions.

• Optimization & Performance Tuning: Ensure reports and dashboards are optimized for performance, including handling large datasets and improving load times.

• Collaboration: Work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet banking and regulatory standards.

• Documentation & Training: Document reports, processes, and Power BI solutions; provide training to end-users on utilizing Power BI reports effectively.

• Security & Governance: Ensure compliance with the bank's data security policies and best practices, including data privacy and user access control.

• Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power BI reports and dashboards, addressing any issues and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, with a strong understanding of banking or financial industry data.

• Technical Skills:

o Strong proficiency in Power BI, including report building, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.

o Advanced knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

o Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

o Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

o Knowledge of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
